I made these a few nights ago as a quick, easy, and light meal. Since cold weather hit, we’ve been eating heavier food than usual and it’s been making me feel…heavier. My stomach couldn’t take it anymore. This was a nice change. It would also be nice for a hot, summer day. (Because who wants to use their oven in the summer? A crazy person, that’s who.)
As I said, these are very easy and quick to make. My favorite kind of food. 😀
What you’ll need:
- lettuce (we used iceberg, but romaine would probably also work)
- sliced turkey
- your favorite hummus (roasted garlic, mmmm)
- cheese (optional)
- other toppings (particularly veggies, like cucumber or tomato)
Step 01: Spread hummus on the lettuce (with iceberg lettuce, I tore each piece in half, so I got two wraps out of one). Put the turkey down. Place cheese and other toppings on it. Roll.
Gorgeous.
We had it with vegetable tian.
As easy as that is, is there even a reason for me to put the recipe at the bottom? I don’t think so.
