They actually make TMNT glasses, if you think it’ll get your kids to drink it.ย Iย prefer the green ones, but these ones are cute, too. I’ve been dying for a set, but they’ve always been way too pricey for me to even consider. So I used ribbon instead ($2, versus $25–no contest).

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Smoothies
- 2 cans coconut milk (I prefer the kind with the cream, but lite is good, too)
- 1-2 cups fresh spinach
- 2-3 bananas
Place everything in a blender and blend until smooth. Change the measurements of the spinach and bananas to fit your taste. If you need it to be sweeter, you can add honey or use sweetened coconut milk.
I don’t have kids, but I have a husband who loves these. I also remember being a kid and if my mom and handed this to me and said it was some kind of fun TMNT thing, I would have sucked that thing down in a heart beat. So…we’ll go off that and say it’s kid-friendly. ๐
Also, these are paleo and vegan, which I imagine many of you will love. ๐
Healthy smoothies, marketed towards picky eaters. These are paleo, vegan, and completely delicious. Share on XHow do you sell healthy foods and beverages to picky eaters? Do you think this would work on them? Let me know in the comments!

I saw your post on In The Playroom’s link party. This is such a cute idea. I love how it’s super healthy and fun for kids!
Thanks, Katie! Hopefully the “fun” part is enough to convince kids to drink it. ๐
Just wanted to offer my thoughts on the drink, having been the guinea pig. It’s one of the more interesting smoothies I’ve ever had. It’s a mild taste that is weakly sweet, certainly sweet enough that I would have liked it as a kid. The color of the drink it awesome, and it’s not too thick, either.
Everything combines to create a really interesting sensation in terms of taste and texture. The fact that it’s quite healthy is a huge boost, to boot!
Ok how FUN and delicious do these look! Growing up I loved Ninja Turtle everything and I would have flipped if my mom would have made this!! Thank you so much for linking up at Tasty Tuesday! Your recipe has been pinned to the Tasty Tuesday Pinterest board! Please join us again this week!
