You know, I was going to go into a story about this…but there really isn’t one. Basically it goes like this: I’m having WAY more success organizing my apartment. I’ve been throwing stuff out and giving stuff away. (Sitting beside my front door is another box for my sister-in-law to pick up on her next day off. Assuming she decides she wants it.) The other day, I went to Wal-Mart and found these:
They came in a pack of two for $1.59. I bought two packs, so I spent $3.18. I got most of the clutter out from under my sink and put it on the second shelf of my cat litter box. They were the perfect size!
Since the majority of what was in my cabinet was feminine products, that’s what went into the baskets. Which I actually love. It means no digging around when I need them, because they sometimes get pushed to the back of the cabinet throughout the month. I just pull out a basket when I need something. It’s very nice. Plus, I want to put my towels under the sink and now I can! Like I said, the task of decluttering and organizing my apartment is coming along quite nicely.
Before someone starts complaining that I have my feminine products on display, 1) my bathroom, my rules, and 2) the table is actually low enough that you can’t see what’s in the baskets without pulling them out. If you’re going through my stuff and are upset by what you find, that is your problem. I had to crouch to take this picture so you could see the baskets.
I have to say, I’m very pleased with this purchase.
Bonus for today: my cat, Kashka. She just looked so cute curled up on my slanket.
