Nuts and Berries is a light, fruity cocktail. Perfect for practically any season. It uses hazelnut liqueur, raspberry liqueur, and almond milk.
I don’t know about you, but I’m terrible at mixing cream-based cocktails without curdling. There’s a certain way you’re supposed to add the cream/milk, but I can never remember what it is. Which is why I started using almond milk. It works REALLY well in this particular drink.
But if you’re allergic to nuts, you can use regular milk.
Using almond milk is also how I achieved the “light and refreshing” bit. Cream-based cocktails are rarely “light.” Almond milk helps with that!
Zach discovered this nuts and berries cocktail while we were in college and it’s one of his favorite things. (In fact, most of his favorite cocktails involve milk or cream, somehow.) It’s easy to make and it doesn’t require much alcohol, so you’ll get more for the money you spend.
It’s also quite tasty.
Nuts and Berries Cocktail
- 1 part raspberry liquor
- 1 part hazelnut liquor
- 4 parts almond milk
- ice
Step 01: Put all ingredients in a martini shaker and mix. The drink is done when condensation shows up on the outside of the martini shaker. Pour it out into a glass. Serve with or without ice.
The weird thing about this drink is that you could find a way to associate it with any season.
It has a light taste, which makes it perfect for spring and summer. But the creaminess is great for fall and winter. Not to mention, nuts and berries make me (personally) think of Christmas. So it’s great for an easy holiday party drink.

Yes! We’ve made a few different drinks with it and it’s SO good!
Thanks for stopping by, Kim! 🙂
The name brand is Frangelico, but DeKuyper now makes a knockoff that’s just as good and much cheaper…maybe half the price?
This is a drink we would love. Hazelnut adds a nice flavor.
It really does! 🙂
