Croutons are way easier to make than I imagined they would be. (Though I also imagined making the bread from scratch…but screw that.) Huge pro: you can also customize them. Which is great, because store bought croutons are never as flavorful as I want them to be. Enter my cheesy garlic croutons! Yum.
Cheesy Garlic Croutons
- garlic spread
- shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 baguette (I got a pre-baked one at Kroger)
Step 01: Slice the baguette and quarter each slice.
Step 02: Mix the garlic spread ingredients (recipe here) and cover the bread chunks in it.
Step 03: Preheat the oven to 400°F. Bake until crispy (about 5-8 minutes). Add cheese, if desired, and bake for another 3-5 minutes.
I realize these aren’t actually on anything yet. I’ll be sharing a recipe for something that these will go amazingly with. 🙂

Yum! I think I would just sit there and eat them by themselves 😛

These look so good!! I make my own croutons once in a while too, but nothing this amazing! I have to try these! Just pinned them and I am going to stumble them too!
Thank you so much, Michelle! 😀 Homemade croutons are the best, aren’t they? I hope you like these ones!
