Fall is here! Which means Winter is Coming and the knitting/crocheting crowd is working extra hard to get all of their projects done before cold weather sets in.
I am personally thrilled that it’s getting cold enough to knit a blanket comfortably. Over the summer, I finished my Jewel-toned Hue Shift Blanket. While it turned out beautifully, working on it in the middle of summer was kind of miserable.
I’m working on another one–a rainbow version–and it’s so much nicer to work under autumn conditions. Even if Georgia still has a few hot days here and there.
There are a lot of patterns I want to knit this year, though. Scarves, hats, sweaters, blankets, tea cozies–you name it, it’s on my list. So many patterns, not nearly enough time.
So instead, I’m just going to sit here and drool over some of these patterns while I make my way to them. And share them with you, so you can share in my suffering. Enjoy! 😛

1. Bearded Viking Helmet
My father-in-law wants one of these. I actually got everything I needed to make it…right before my wrist went kaput. -_- Soon!

These are adorable and there is also a size for adults!
18. Snowflora Hat
I love the subtle hints of color in this hat!
19. Fox Tales Gloves

I love these!! That teaberry blanket is precious and I need to make one! Ravelry.com is also a great resource for free patterns. It has a ton of patterns and you can search by yarn size, difficulty level, cost, and knitting versus crochet.
Isn’t it? I’m dying to make that now!
Yes, I LOVE Ravelry! I think the only thing I don’t like is that you can’t leave a review of a pattern. There have been a lot of patterns I’ve gotten there that have been written incorrectly. I’m sure other people and found out and would have been happy to leave a review saying so…which would have saved me a lot of time and frustration finding out on my own. -_-
I love these! I’ve been crocheting a lot lately because it works up so quickly but I love to knit too! The yellow sweater is sweet!
I’ve been wanting to learn crochet, but for some reason I’m just not getting it. I agree, though, I LOVE that yellow sweater. 🙂 Thanks, Kim!!
Oh my goodness. The owl decor is adorable. So many great ideas here!
Isn’t it!? I love that! Thanks, Stefany!

I am in love with that infinity scarf, the owl hat and the love pillow! I wonder if I could do these? I do knit but I would consider myself a beginner. I better practice some more!

There are so many great projects here! Now that it’s fall, all I want to do is knit forever. But, it’s so hard to decide which project to do first!
